Fittingly, this is the last photograph we took in Stoke as part of this project, shot earlier this afternoon. It is of a burnt-out camera found on the remains of an outdoor fire behind rows of terraced houses being knocked down in Hanley. From now until the publication of a book and exhibition, all efforts will be on the daunting task of editing images taken over the course of the past six months into shape and working on production.
Earlier in the day, we'd visited the North Staffordshire Afro-Caribbean Association where amongst others, we photographed the following portraits and details.
